Varg SM Sköll: Stark’s limited 80bhp electric supermoto
The Stark Future special will be limited to 500 motorcycles, with a claimed weight of 123.4kg and a UK price of £12,990.

Stark Future has turned its Varg SM into a numbered special edition called the Sköll. The electric supermoto combines the full 80bhp Alpha specification with a predominantly black finish and a lower claimed weight. Production will stop after 500 motorcycles worldwide, with no second run planned. First deliveries are scheduled from October 2026, and the UK price is £12,990.
This is an enhanced version of the existing Varg SM, not a ground-up replacement. Its steel frame, carbon-fibre front subframe, structural 7.2kWh battery and single-speed electric drive remain in place. The Alpha powertrain produces 80bhp, while Dynamic Traction Control is standard. The rider can alter power delivery, traction control and regenerative braking from the handlebar while riding.
Weight comes down through a focused parts package. Three-dimensionally printed titanium footpegs account for a 140g saving, and the complete titanium bolt kit removes a further 900g. The claimed figure is therefore 123.4kg for the Sköll, compared with 124.5kg for the Varg SM. Stark says the reduction should sharpen agility and make lifting the front wheel easier; suspension, wheels and the other rotating components are unchanged.
Distinctive finish, familiar running gear
The special edition’s visual identity comes from its near-black treatment and individually numbered, engraved triple clamps. The gold RK chain is intentionally left as a contrast and runs with a 7075 T6 aluminium rear sprocket. Beneath the cosmetic changes, the hardware includes KYB suspension, a 48mm closed-cartridge fork, an adjustable rear shock, Brembo brakes and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres.
An Arkenstone display supplies navigation, GPX recording, lap timing and over-the-air updates. Stark quotes 914Nm (674lb-ft) of rear-wheel torque. There is no gearbox or clutch: the motor sends its drive to the rear wheel through a single-speed transmission.
The company’s stated range figures are 183km for urban use, 118km for suburban riding and 81km under WMTC. A 240V supply is claimed to recharge the bike in two hours using the 3.3kW portable charger. Stark also describes the Sköll as road legal and compatible with a European A1 licence on the basis of continuous-power measurement. Its premium over the standard Varg SM is attributed to the Alpha specification, titanium parts and limited-edition treatment.
