ZXMOTO has set out its European motorcycle programme for 2027 with five new models spanning supersport, streetfighter, adventure and rally-raid categories. The announced line-up consists of the 820RR, 500F, 820R, 820X and 450 RALLY. Alongside them, the company is developing a new 1,100cc twin-cylinder boxer engine intended for future adventure, grand-touring and cruiser motorcycles. The programme was presented in the context of EICMA 2026.

One 820 platform, two distinct roles

The 820RR is the clearest link between the new range and circuit racing. It is the road version of the platform used in the World Supersport Championship, and ZXMOTO is aiming to carry the race bike’s dynamic character into a production motorcycle. The production version is expected to reach Europe in spring 2027.

The 820R uses the same 820 platform but is designed around a more usable road experience. Its brief includes a more comfortable riding position and road manners that should be easier to exploit, while keeping the performance focus of a streetfighter. Its European arrival is also scheduled for spring 2027. The 500F takes a different route, combining retro styling with a 500cc four-cylinder engine in a naked motorcycle. Its ride-by-wire throttle provides the electronic foundation for modern rider aids, while ZXMOTO has listed the model for its 2027 European range without assigning a specific arrival date.

The 820X targets distance, the 450 RALLY targets rough ground

The 820X will be ZXMOTO’s first adventure motorcycle and the most overtly touring-focused model in the group. Its European launch is planned for the second half of 2027. The equipment announced so far includes electronically adjustable suspension, adaptive cruise control and a 27-litre aluminium fuel tank. ZXMOTO describes the bike as having its most comprehensive rider-assistance package to date, giving the 820X a clear technology and long-distance emphasis.

The 450 RALLY brings a direct rally-raid connection to the range. It will be road legal and was developed alongside a competition motorcycle taking part in the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC). ZXMOTO says its development focused on reliability, weight optimisation and suspension, with data from rally-raid competition feeding into the process. The model is likewise scheduled to reach Europe in the second half of 2027.

A new boxer, plus smaller off-road models

The 1,100cc twin-cylinder boxer is a separate part of ZXMOTO’s future plan. The company says it is pursuing more power and lower weight than conventional boxer layouts, although it has not supplied comparative figures. Its clutch system is designed to let the rider choose between automatic and manual operation. The engine is intended for future adventure, grand-touring and cruiser motorcycles.

The programme also extends into smaller off-road categories. The 350 Dual Sport is aimed at beginner riders and will use an oil-cooled 350cc engine. The 300 Enduro is intended for competition and will be powered by a fuel-injected two-stroke engine. Together, these projects give ZXMOTO a broad European plan: the 820RR connects the range to Supersport, the 450 RALLY to rally-raid, and the remaining models fill out the road, touring and entry-level off-road categories.
