Voge is moving into the fiercely contested middleweight-to-large naked class with the R800, presented as a 2027 motorcycle. Its 800cc parallel-twin engine is also used in the 800 Rally, but receives a dedicated tune for this naked application, producing a claimed 95 horsepower. The motorcycle weighs 192 kg dry and stands out visually with Voge’s yellow-and-black colour scheme, sharp bodywork and an aggressive stance aimed at sporty road riding.

Ride-by-wire and sport-focused chassis

Electronic throttle control is central to the R800’s package. It allows different engine maps, is intended to make the quickshifter operate more smoothly, and provides the basis for integrating cruise control. Voge has paired the engine electronics with an upside-down front fork using 41mm tubes and adjustable damping. A rear monoshock adds adjustable spring preload, giving the naked bike suspension equipment designed around a sporty riding character.

Braking hardware follows the same direction. The front wheel carries two 320mm discs with radially mounted Nissin calipers, while a radial brake master cylinder and adjustable brake and clutch levers are also included. Full-LED lighting forms the main lighting package. Beneath the headlight cover sits an integrated recording camera, or dashcam, which is part of the standard equipment rather than an optional accessory.

Radar assistance and everyday usability

The R800 also brings radar-based blind-spot detection to the equipment list. When another vehicle occupies the rider’s blind spot, warning indicators in the mirrors alert the rider. The motorcycle’s specification is therefore not limited to performance-focused components: Voge describes the overall concept as ergonomic, practical and enjoyable for everyday use, with a character intended not to intimidate riders. It is presented as suitable for riders with different levels of experience.

A restricted 35kW version for holders of an A2 licence is being considered. That variant is not confirmed as a production model. The R800’s arrival and pricing have also yet to be announced, leaving the motorcycle’s final market position to be established when Voge provides those details.
