BSA Bantam 350 range grows with Bobber and Scrambler
The two new 350 models share the Bantam platform but use distinct suspension layouts, engine tuning and styling themes ahead of their planned 2027 arrival.

BSA has expanded the Bantam family with two new 350 models, the Bantam Bobber 350 and Bantam Scrambler 350, unveiled at EICMA. Both are based on the Bantam platform and use the 334cc single-cylinder engine also found in the Bantam 350. Their planned market launch is set for 2027, alongside the new Thunderbolt 350.
Two chassis approaches on one platform
The Bobber 350 uses upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, with seven positions for preload adjustment. The Scrambler takes a more traditional route with telescopic hydraulic forks and twin rear shocks, whose preload can be set across five positions. That hardware gives the two motorcycles a clear mechanical distinction beyond their styling, even though they share the same basic engine platform.
BSA has also given the models separate engine figures. The Bobber is rated at 28.22 hp, or 27.8 bhp, at 8,000 rpm and 19.4 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. The Scrambler is listed at 29 hp, equivalent to 28.6 bhp, at 8,100 rpm, with 22.1 lb-ft arriving at 6,750 rpm. The existing Bantam 350 produces 29 bhp at 7,750 rpm and 21.8 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. BSA says the Scrambler’s engine was developed specifically with lower weight and higher power in mind.
A dark-chrome Bobber and a Bushman link
The Bobber carries 13.2 litres of fuel, compared with 12.5 litres for the Scrambler. A special dark-chrome Bobber will add a gold upside-down fork, 16-inch spoked wheels and a colour TFT display to the package.
The Scrambler 350 looks back to the 1966 BSA Bushman for inspiration. Spoked wheels and semi-knobby tyres reinforce that direction, while the announced colour choices are Black, Green and Grey. Anupam Thareja, co-founder of Classic Legends Pvt Ltd, described the two motorcycles as separate interpretations of the Bantam idea, linking the Bobber with individuality and the Scrambler with exploration.
The Thunderbolt 350, first shown at EICMA 2025, is also due to receive three new colour schemes: Black and Yellow, Grey, and Green and Ivory. BSA has additionally announced Deep Green, Black Chrome and Gloss Black for the Scrambler 650, alongside the existing Victor Yellow.
