Honda EICMA 2026: new Africa Twin, Fireblade and V3R 900
Honda unveils the redesigned Africa Twin and Fireblade families, the V3R 900 E-Compressor, the RN0 and concepts pointing beyond 2030.

Honda’s EICMA 2026 display in Milan spans two world-premiere motorcycle families, a planned production model, an electric-assist mountain bike and concepts aimed at future forms of mobility. The centrepieces are the redesigned CRF1150L Africa Twin and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade ranges. Press access is scheduled for November 3–4, followed by public days from November 5–8.
Africa Twin gains a third variant
The fully redesigned CRF1150L Africa Twin family now consists of the Africa Twin, Africa Twin Adventure Sports and the new Africa Twin Enduro Sports. Honda says the latter is intended to deliver enhanced off-road performance. Across the range, increased engine displacement is combined with extensive weight reduction and a lower centre of gravity. The fuel tank is divided, with part of its volume placed beneath the seat, a layout intended to make the motorcycle easier to handle while improving overall balance.
The Adventure Sports is the technology lead: Honda identifies it as the first of its motorcycles to use Honda SENSING RIDE, the company’s newly developed advanced rider-assistance system. The Africa Twin family also receives the new Honda Flagship WING emblem and is positioned by Honda as its flagship adventure range powered by an internal-combustion engine.
Fireblade receives a ground-up rethink
The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is similarly extensive in its revision. The new range comprises the Fireblade, Fireblade SP and the newly introduced Fireblade HRC Works Edition. Honda says roughly 75% of the components have been newly designed, including the aluminium twin-tube frame and swingarm. The range also carries the new Honda Flagship WING emblem and remains Honda’s flagship internal-combustion supersport line.
A notable engine-side change is the two-stage variable-length intake air-funnel system. Honda presents it as the first use of this arrangement on one of its mass-produced motorcycles. That change sits alongside the broader chassis redesign, giving the Fireblade a clear focus on supersport performance rather than a routine model-year update.
V3R 900, RN0 and the future-facing exhibits
The V3R 900 E-Compressor is displayed as a planned production model. Its proprietary V-type three-cylinder engine uses an electronically controlled compressor that Honda describes as the world’s first such motorcycle application, based on its own research. The machine has an asymmetric design and uses titanium for the fuel tank, exhaust pipes and muffler. An enhanced Honda RoadSync system brings a revised human-machine interface and AI-powered voice controls; a dedicated app is required to use the system.
The Honda RN0 makes its world debut as Honda’s first electric-assist mountain bike. ROTWILD, a manufacturer of high-end electric-assist mountain bikes, worked with Honda on its development. A proprietary carbon monocoque frame and gull-arm swingarm are paired with an electronically controlled electric-assist drive unit, a combination Honda associates with the stability and riding character of a next-generation e-MTB.
The ADV125 addresses the commuter segment and is designed for riders holding a European A1 motorcycle licence. Its 125 cc eSP+ engine is accompanied by a new 5-inch full-colour TFT display and smartphone connectivity through Honda RoadSync. Honda draws its practical and visual inspiration from the X-ADV and ADV350. The CBR500R FOUR makes its European debut as a middleweight sport motorcycle with a four-cylinder engine and Honda E-Clutch, Honda’s automatic clutch-control system.
Honda also brings the EV OUTLIER Concept to Europe for the first time. Rather than extending an existing model formula, the concept proposes a direction for motorcycles from 2030 onward, using in-wheel motors at both the front and rear. The Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept takes a middleweight sport motorcycle as its base and combines Tiger Yellow bodywork with bold black stripes and yellow accents on the predominantly black wheels.
