Ducati has added six motorcycles to its 2027 range, unveiling them at a central Milan event held on the eve of EICMA. The Panigale V4 SP is the most track-focused of the group, but the programme also includes two other SP models, a revised Diavel V4, the off-road-oriented DesertX Rally and the smaller Desmo 250EDS.

Panigale V4 SP: built around track use

The Panigale V4 evolves for 2027 with more power and improved aerodynamics. The V4 SP uses the Panigale V4 S as its starting point, then adds carbon-fibre wheels, a final drive and dry clutch with racing origins in Ducati’s World Superbike machinery, racing footpegs and further carbon-fibre components. It is a limited, individually numbered motorcycle conceived for non-professional riders who want a track-focused machine.

Its standout technical feature is an aerodynamic package homologated for World Superbike. Enlarged wings and side pods are claimed to raise vertical load at high speed by 25 percent. A track kit is included, bringing billet-aluminium mirror-cover plates, a cover for removing the licence-plate holder and an open carbon-fibre clutch cover. The specification is rounded off by dedicated Winter Test graphics and an individually numbered plaque on the top yoke.

The remaining Milan debuts

The Streetfighter V4 SP takes the same limited-edition route. Its details include Winter Test livery, carbon-fibre wheels, an exposed brushed-aluminium tank, a two-tone seat, Ducati Red brake calipers and individual numbering on the handlebar. The Panigale V2 SP is based on the V2 S and has been developed to give Ducati a motorcycle with which to enter the Supersport World Championship. Öhlins suspension, a longer swingarm, forged wheels and a dry clutch define its hardware package.

The Diavel V4 receives a redesign and updated technology for 2027, while an S version joins the range for the first time. New air intakes, a reshaped single-seat tail section and new wheels are among the changes intended to give the power cruiser a more dynamic appearance. The DesertX Rally addresses the opposite end of the riding spectrum, with longer-travel KYB suspension, Takasago Excel tubeless wheels, a Termignoni exhaust, reinforced skid plate, high front mudguard and one-piece seat aimed at improving off-road performance.

The Desmo 250EDS is a smaller 250cc enduro companion to the Desmo 450. These six motorcycles join Ducati’s other 2027 newcomers: the Monster Dark, Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE, Hypermotard V2 RVE, Multistrada V4 Grand Tour, Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and new Desmo 450 variants.
