Benda Vinster 700 and X 700: twin roadsters with a 691.6cc V2
Benda enters the roadster category with two closely related motorcycles that differ in styling, wheels and ergonomics.
Benda has expanded into the roadster category with the Vinster 700 and Vinster X 700, both presented at EICMA 2026. They share their core mechanical package, but take different visual approaches. The Vinster 700 is shaped as the more conventional roadster, while the X version adopts a touring-inspired appearance and stance.
Both motorcycles use a liquid-cooled 691.6cc V2. Output is listed at 72 bhp at 9,000 rpm, with 50 lb-ft of torque arriving at 6,500 rpm. The same engine is also used in the Benda Capra 700 and Rock 707. The V2 platform sits at the centre of Benda’s move into the roadster class, one of three new segments the company had confirmed it would enter.
Their shared chassis specification includes a double-cradle frame, an aluminium swingarm and a common suspension arrangement. Up front, upside-down telescopic forks provide 135mm of travel; a hydraulic shock at the rear provides 120mm. Braking is handled by single discs at both ends, with a four-piston front caliper and a two-piston rear caliper. Two-channel ABS is fitted front and rear.
The clearest separation between the two models is found in their wheel configuration and riding position. The Vinster 700 uses 17-inch wheels and has an 830mm seat, while the Vinster X 700 gets a 19-inch front wheel and an 865mm seat. Petr Badura, Transportation Designer at Benda Motor Europe, says the project began with a designer’s idea before being developed around the V2. Benda deliberately made the engine part of the bike’s visual identity, setting its exposed mechanical character against the bodywork’s carefully sculpted surfaces.
