Benda is reported to have unveiled the Rover 500, a new cruiser whose appeal currently rests more on its design than on confirmed technical information. The Chinese manufacturer has given the bike a low-slung stance and strong retro cues, while its exact place in the company’s range remains unclear.

Retro form with a V-twin

The Rover 500 combines a low profile and muscular bodywork with more contemporary styling details. Its most distinctive features include belt final drive and a pair of exhausts mounted on the sides. The engine is reported to be a V-twin, although the “500” in the model name does not by itself confirm the engine’s actual displacement. Performance figures, pricing and a full technical specification have also yet to be confirmed.

Benda has not included the Rover 500 in the official model range it publishes so far, leaving its intended production status unresolved. A market arrival during 2027 has been raised as a possibility rather than a fixed schedule. The name itself has also attracted humour among English-speaking motorcycle audiences, since “Benda Rover” creates an obvious double meaning. For now, the motorcycle is best viewed as a promising design proposal whose commercial future still needs to be defined by Benda.
