ABUS YARDO 7807F/110: a chain lock opened by fingerprint
The 110 cm security chain works without a key or code and supports up to 20 users.

ABUS is bringing fingerprint access to everyday motorcycle security with the YARDO 7807F/110. The chain lock opens with a finger rather than a key or code, and is presented as a solution for urban use and for riders seeking a quicker locking and unlocking routine.
The chain is 110 cm long and 7 mm thick. Its body uses coated cast zinc and double locking, while the sensor is designed to read the fingerprint regardless of the direction in which the finger touches it. The system can accommodate up to 20 users: two administrators and 18 additional users. Locking is automatic once both chain ends are placed into the lock body.
A silicone covering surrounds the body to help protect the motorcycle’s frame from scratches. ABUS lists IP66/IP68 protection and an ABUS security rating of 8/15. A CR2 battery is included, with a stated capacity of up to 10,000 openings when using a new battery. The chain is black, carries product code AB – CL -7807 F /110- BK and has a stated retail price including VAT of €117.80.
