Bosch is using EICMA 2026 to present a broad selection of two-wheeler technologies, spanning electronic safety, rider assistance and electrification. The centrepiece is the latest generation of its Central Gateway, developed to protect a motorcycle’s onboard electronic networks against cyberattacks.

The Central Gateway comes in Light and Base configurations with 16 and 39 pins respectively. A 99-pin High version is aimed at more complex electronic architectures. Bosch positions the system as a way for manufacturers to meet UN Regulations R155 and R156, which will bring new cybersecurity requirements for two-wheelers from 2027. Network protection is therefore becoming an integral part of the electronic platform behind a new motorcycle.

Radar assistance and connected displays

Bosch is also highlighting its ARAS radar technology for active safety. The systems are featured on the new Triumph Tiger 1200, with Adaptive Cruise Control, Group Ride Assist and Blind Spot Detection among the functions identified for the platform.

Making its debut at the show is the 7-inch TFT Connect System. The display joins integrated 6 kW electric drive systems and software solutions for a Digital Battery Passport, giving Bosch’s motorcycle portfolio a reach that extends from network security and rider assistance to electric two-wheeler management. The solutions are being shown at EICMA 2026 in Hall 22, stand H16.
