Mini cruisers take a larger role at EICMA 2026
Harley-Davidson, Honda, Benda and Royal Enfield show how custom styling is moving into more accessible, easier-to-use motorcycles.

Mini cruisers occupied a more prominent place at EICMA 2026, with Harley-Davidson, Honda, Benda and Royal Enfield representing different takes on the same direction. The formula preserves the attitude of larger custom motorcycles while pairing it with smaller proportions, modest engine capacities and easier everyday use. As a result, the category is moving beyond its old image as a budget choice aimed mainly at beginners.
Practicality does not mean that these motorcycles remain technically basic. The segment covers both single-cylinder and twin-cylinder engines, while some models use automatic or automated transmissions together with electronically managed clutches. Such systems make the riding process less demanding, particularly for people approaching two-wheel mobility for the first time.
Style is still central to the proposition
There is no single design formula within the class. Stripped-back bobbers sit alongside more traditional cruisers, joined by digital instruments and equipment that, until recently, was more commonly associated with pricier motorcycles. The decision therefore involves more than ease of use: styling, character and the potential for personalization are all part of the appeal.
Price remains an important part of the argument. In many cases, mini cruisers fall between 4,000 and 6,000 euros, placing them as a clear alternative to naked motorcycles and other entry-level options. The presence of both long-established brands and newer manufacturers suggests that custom styling is entering a broader, more accessible phase instead of remaining confined to a specialist audience.
