Zero Project Ventura: electric road bike with 150 km range
Zero’s new electric road bike delivers more than 20 kW, reaches 130 km/h and is scheduled for summer 2027.
Zero Motorcycles has unveiled the Project Ventura as a world premiere: a lightweight electric road motorcycle with an upright riding position and styling shaped by the supermoto concept. The company is targeting both A1- and B-licence holders and more experienced riders, combining a layout focused on agility with the immediate response of an electric motor.
Performance and equipment
Peak power is rated at more than 20 kW, while top speed reaches 130 km/h. Zero gives a sustained speed of 105 km/h and an estimated real-world range of 150 km. The Ventura runs on 17-inch wheels fitted with high-performance road tyres, and standard ABS is included.
The motorcycle has been designed for two-seater type approval. Its equipment list includes an integrated Level 2 battery charger and Bluetooth connectivity. That connection can link the bike with Zero Motorcycles’ new app, allowing the rider to manage motorcycle settings.
A 2027 launch
Project Ventura is scheduled to launch in summer 2027. Zero also presented the LS3 electric scooter, which has a 120 km/h top speed, a starting price of €6,985 and planned sales from spring 2027. The same presentation included a new road-legal version of the lightweight XE off-roader, as well as future DC fast-charging technologies.
