VMOTO CP Global Scooter brings four battery choices and 180 km range
The new electric scooter makes its world premiere at EICMA 2026, alongside a higher-capacity CP-D version for delivery work.
VMOTO is using EICMA 2026 to introduce the CP Global Scooter, an electric model aimed at the mass market and making its world premiere at the show. Its styling was developed with Pininfarina, while the underlying platform is intended to satisfy regulatory requirements in different markets. The launch comes after what VMOTO describes as a strong first half of 2026, with vehicle sales up 140% and revenue approximately 70% higher.
Four removable battery configurations
The motor is mounted in the wheel and carries an IP67 protection rating. It produces 3 kW of rated power and up to 5.5 kW at peak. In its most powerful configuration, the scooter completes the 0-50 km/h run in 5.8 seconds, with more than 179 Nm of torque at the wheel. Three riding modes are included.
The battery system can be arranged with one or two removable packs, with four choices available: 74V/30Ah and 74V/45Ah ternary-lithium units, a 72V/24Ah LMFP battery and a 76V/40Ah LFP battery. Fitting two 74V/45Ah batteries gives a maximum WMTC range of 180 km. The ternary-lithium packs support Type 6 charging, taking the charge level from 0 to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. The 74V batteries can alternatively be exchanged at VMOTO stations.
The equipment list includes 4G connectivity linked to a dedicated app, NFC, a digital display and storage for a helmet beneath the seat. VMOTO is also showing the CP-D, a version intended for delivery and other professional applications. It retains the same technical platform as the CP Global Scooter but is designed to carry a greater load. VMOTO will exhibit its products at EICMA 2026 in Hall 11, Stand I50.
