Stark Future sold all 500 Varg SM Sköll motorcycles in less than 48 hours, bringing the limited edition’s short sales window to a close. Orders opened at 10am UK time on Wednesday, September 16, and the blacked-out model had sold out by Friday, September 18. Stark has confirmed that there will be no second production run.

The Sköll is a special version of the electric VARG SM, which remains in Stark’s line-up alongside the MX1.2 and EX. Its main mechanical package is shared with the standard bike: a steel frame, carbon-fibre front subframe, 7.2kWh battery and single-speed electric drivetrain. Both models are listed with 80bhp and 674 lb-ft of torque.

Focused weight saving rather than a new platform

The limited model’s distinction comes mainly from its equipment specification. Standard footpegs give way to 3D-printed titanium parts, cutting 140g, while a complete titanium bolt kit removes a further 900g. These are focused rather than extensive changes, but they give the Sköll a separate position from the regular VARG SM.

Morgan Karlsson, Chief Marketing Officer at Stark Future, said the Sköll was conceived as a limited offering from the beginning. For customers who missed one of the 500 motorcycles, Stark says its dealer network is being supported with secured allocations and a direct route to the standard VARG SM, which uses the same platform and drivetrain.
