KTM 1390 Super Duke GT returns for 2027 with an AMT Evo
The sport-tourer is expected in early 2027, with offline navigation, a clutch-free Evo version and a wider KTM line-up at EICMA.

KTM is bringing the 1390 Super Duke GT into its 2027 range, with the new sport-tourer expected to arrive in early 2027. The model was first shown at EICMA 2024, but its production was delayed during KTM’s financial crisis. It will now form part of the 2027 range presented by KTM in Milan.
More touring equipment
The 1390 Super Duke GT uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen TFT display and adds onboard navigation with maps stored for offline use. Standard equipment includes an adjustable screen and an integrated SP Connect mount. KTM also says it has reworked seat comfort for riders spending longer days on the motorcycle. The changes give the GT a stronger touring focus while preserving its place within the performance-oriented Super Duke family.
The 1390 Super Duke GT Evo will sit alongside the standard version. Its defining addition is KTM’s Automated Manual Transmission, or AMT. Riders can either select gears manually or let the system shift fully automatically, with no clutch operation required. That creates a second route into the GT range for riders who want its sport-touring format with a different approach to managing the transmission.
The rest of KTM’s 2027 range
KTM’s EICMA presentation begins on November 3, before the range moves on to MCL26 at the NEC in Birmingham. The 2027 1390 Super Duke R and 1390 Super Duke R Evo receive new colour schemes, an 8.8-inch touchscreen TFT display and an updated Brembo HyPure caliper setup. The wider programme includes the 390 Adventure R and 790 Adventure, while the updated 390 Adventure is expected to be revealed after EICMA. KTM will also present the 390 SMC R, 125 SMC, 390 Enduro R and 125 Enduro.
