Kove Bonic and E-500RR: Two Electric Prototypes, Two Roles
The Bonic is an off-road-oriented prototype rated above 25 kW, while the E-500RR targets more than 50 kW and a weight below 150 kg.
Kove is showing two fully electric prototypes at EICMA 2026, but they are aimed at distinctly different types of riding. The Bonic is the off-road machine, while the E-500RR applies Kove’s supersport direction to a high-performance electric motorcycle.
The Bonic has won an iF Design Award and uses a biomimetic form influenced by the skeletal structure of birds. Kove says its chassis was refined through Dakar Rally experience, with the chassis, suspension and brakes integrated around stability and control in off-road use. The prototype uses a proprietary axial-flow electric motor, a compact layout and multiple riding modes. Its output exceeds 25 kW, its stated range is approximately 130 km, and it is claimed to cover 0–96 km/h in under 2.3 seconds.
The E-500RR is the performance-focused counterpart, targeting over 50 kW and a weight below 150 kg. Its liquid-cooled axial-flow motor was developed in-house by Kove, and the race-derived chassis is paired with an upside-down fork and hydraulic monoshock. Braking hardware consists of 320 mm front discs and a 220 mm rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS, while 17-inch sports tyres complete the running gear. A high-voltage platform adds Sport and ECO modes. Both prototypes can be found in Hall 14, Stand A52.
