Kawasaki is returning the Ninja H2 family to its UK range for 2027, with a new limited-number H2 Carbon joining the lineup. The road-going H2, Carbon variant and track-only H2R come back with broad revisions to the engine, electronics and rider equipment.

The updated H2 is powered by a liquid-cooled, supercharged inline-four. Kawasaki claims 206 bhp at 11,000 rpm and 99.5 lb-ft of torque at 8,500 rpm; the H2 Carbon uses the same engine and shares those peak figures. That is below the previous model’s claimed 228 hp (224 bhp), recorded at its last US homologation.

The H2 left the UK market in 2020 as a Euro4 motorcycle. Kawasaki links part of the output reduction to the stricter Euro5+ emissions requirements introduced in 2024. The announcement also suggests that production may be better aligned with the Z H2, but presents that as a likely explanation rather than an official reason for the change.

A substantially revised engine

The main mechanical work centres on a new impeller and intake system. Kawasaki has also introduced new pistons, cylinder head, cylinder, crankshaft, camshafts, throttle bodies and exhaust system, alongside revised gearbox ratios. The H2 is also the first Kawasaki motorcycle to use Brembo Hypure front calipers.

The rider interface has been reworked as well. The instrument panel offers two selectable layouts: one draws on the silhouette of the air ducts, while the other gives greater prominence to boost pressure and aviation-inspired lean and attitude information. The electronic package includes revised Traction Control and Launch Control, Cornering Management Function, KIBS, KQS, Engine Brake Control, an Öhlins electronic steering damper, electronic cruise control and Rideology connectivity.

Carbon details and UK pricing

The H2 Carbon is distinguished by an upper cowl made from high-rigidity, lightweight CFRP carbon fibre. The H2 and H2 Carbon are scheduled to arrive at the end of the year in Mirror Coated Spark Black. UK prices are £28,600 for the Ninja H2 and £31,350 for the H2 Carbon. The track-only H2R, described in the announcement as producing more than 300 bhp, is priced at £52,000. These figures and the timing apply to the UK; the supplied evidence does not establish Greek pricing or availability.
