F.B. Mondial has unveiled the 2027 Piega 125 at EICMA 2026, giving the motorcycle a new technical and design foundation. The overhaul does not abandon the model’s established family identity: geometric surfaces and an aggressive, visually front-biased profile remain part of the formula. Lucky Explorer graphics can further alter its appearance, adding another visual treatment without changing the core design.

The substantial changes sit beneath the bodywork. The Piega 125 uses a new frame and a new single-cylinder engine with four valves and DOHC. Its output is 14.3 hp (10.5 kW), with 10.5 Nm of torque. F.B. Mondial says the engine’s calibration keeps performance within the legal limits for A1 and B licence holders, while the motorcycle remains focused on the 125cc segment.

The chassis also receives a clear upgrade. An upside-down front fork works with 17-inch wheels fitted with 110/70 and 140/70 tyres. The remaining headline dimensions include a 12.5-litre fuel tank, an 810 mm seat height and a 124 kg kerb weight. In combination, these figures show an update that goes beyond revised bodywork, with the engine and frame both replaced for the 2027 model year.
