Cyclone RX628 Rally: 64 hp and 21/18-inch wheels for the dirt
Cyclone’s new parallel-twin adventure bike combines 581 cc, adjustable Kayaba suspension and extensive equipment, with its European arrival estimated for the first half of 2027.

Cyclone has shown the RX628 Rally at the CIMA exhibition in Chongqing, presenting a new twin-cylinder adventure motorcycle that takes the RX600 in a more dirt-focused direction. The change is not merely cosmetic: the model uses 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, increased ground clearance, a high front mudguard and vertically arranged lighting with a rally-inspired appearance. Cyclone has not announced a European launch date, although the bike is estimated to arrive in the first half of 2027.
Hardware aimed at off-road riding
The spoked rims are tubeless and carry Pirelli Scorpion tyres measuring 90/90 at the front and 170/80 at the rear. Kayaba suspension is fitted at both ends, with multiple adjustment points, while ground clearance reaches 220 mm. The chassis combines a perimeter frame with an exposed removable tubular subframe and an aluminium swingarm. With an 850 mm seat height, the RX628 Rally adopts the tall stance associated with more serious adventure use.
Its 581 cc engine is an eight-valve parallel twin. Output is rated at 64 hp, or 48 kW, at 9,000 rpm, while maximum torque is stated as 5.9 kgm at 6,500 rpm. A six-speed gearbox handles the transmission. The motorcycle measures 2,366 mm in length, 970 mm in width and 1,385 mm in height, with a 1,530 mm wheelbase. The fuel tank holds 18 litres, and the announced wet weight is 236 kg.
Equipment for touring and protection
Braking is handled by two front discs and one rear disc, with Nissin callipers and dual-channel ABS. The equipment list includes a heated seat and grips, handguards, an aluminium engine skid plate, an adjustable windscreen, side and centre stands, and a dash camera. The cockpit uses a vertical colour TFT display, while auxiliary lights, tubular protection around the engine and tank, and a rear rack for a top box add to the practical package. The three-case luggage set visible in the images has not been confirmed as part of the standard equipment.
