BMW M 1000 models mark the Nürburgring centenary
The M 1000 RR, R and XR receive a shared anniversary treatment, with only 23 motorcycles allocated to the UK.

BMW Motorrad is marking the Nürburgring’s centenary with special editions of the M 1000 RR, M 1000 R and M 1000 XR. The German circuit officially opened on June 18, 1927, and BMW will produce 100 examples of each 100 Jahre Nürburgring motorcycle worldwide.
The three bikes share the anniversary treatment: historical Nürburgring Green paint, dedicated decals, carbon wheels, black subframes and swingarms, plus an Alcantara-look seat with ‘100’ embroidery. The fuel tank receives painted Nordschleife decoration, while the airbox cover carries a special design and a ‘one of 100’ marking. BMW includes its M Track Package as standard. The M 1000 RR and M 1000 R also come with an M Cover Kit.
Each motorcycle is supplied with an M motorcycle mat bearing the 100 Jahre Nürburgring logo and a rear paddock stand. Beneath the shared finish, the three models retain different roles. The M 1000 RR is the most track-focused of the group, with emphasis on aerodynamics, lightweight construction and outright circuit performance. The M 1000 R applies the high-performance approach in naked-bike form, while the M 1000 XR combines the M 1000 family’s performance with greater long-distance capability and comfort.
The UK allocation is particularly small. BMW will offer nine M 1000 Rs at £28,700 each, eight M 1000 XRs at £31,200, and just six M 1000 RRs at £43,000 apiece. That makes 23 motorcycles in total, with market launch expected in June 2027. The limited production and allocation place these editions closer to collector machines than to ordinary, better-equipped versions intended for regular road or track use.
BMW says the anniversary motorcycles connect its road-going M models with the Nürburgring, which it uses for development and testing. The programme extends beyond motorcycles: six BMW M cars will also be offered as 100 Jahre Nürburgring editions, including the M2, M3 Sedan, M3 Touring, M4 Coupé, M5 Sedan and M5 Touring. No Greek pricing or availability is provided.
