Benelli 2027: Tornado Naked range, TRK 602 X and a triple-cylinder concept
The new line-up adds 125, 550 and 700 cc naked bikes, the TRK 602 X and a concept with active winglets.

Benelli used EICMA 2026 to set out its 2027 motorcycle programme, showing three Tornado Naked models, the production-ready TRK 602 X and the Tornado Naked Tre 903 Concept. The line-up runs from a 125 cc naked bike to a 698 cc twin, while the adventure range gains a new 554 cc model. The most experimental machine is an approximately 900 cc three-cylinder concept equipped with active aerodynamic winglets.
The Tornado Naked family
The Tornado Naked 125 forms the entry point. Its liquid-cooled, four-valve single-cylinder engine displaces 125 cc and makes 15 hp at 9,500 rpm and 12 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Power reaches the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox, with claimed fuel consumption of 2.1 litres per 100 kilometres. The design uses a T-shaped headlight and indicators built into the handguards, echoing the larger bikes in the family.
The chassis combines a steel twin-spar frame with an upside-down fork and a linkage-mounted monoshock offering adjustable preload. Both wheels use disc brakes, with a four-piston front caliper and two-channel ABS. The 17-inch wheels, 790 mm seat and 143 kg wet weight define the compact package. Full-LED lighting and a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and navigation are also included. Benelli schedules its arrival for summer 2027.
The Tornado Naked Twin 550 moves to a 554 cc parallel twin with dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder. Benelli will offer it in a 35 kW version as well as a 56 hp version, with torque stated at 53 Nm. Its steel tubular frame is paired with an aluminium swingarm, a fully adjustable 41 mm upside-down fork and a rear shock with adjustable preload and rebound damping.
Stopping power comes from two 320 mm front discs with radial four-piston calipers and a 260 mm rear disc. The equipment list includes a 5-inch TFT display with connectivity and navigation, Normal and Sport riding modes, traction control and ABS that can be switched off. The 17-inch wheels carry 120/70 and 160/60 tyres. The Twin 550 is scheduled for spring 2027 in green, grey and black.
At the top of the naked range sits the Tornado Naked Twin 700, powered by a 698 cc parallel twin producing 73.4 hp and 67 Nm. Ride-by-wire, a slipper clutch and a 35 kW version expand the specification, while adjustable Marzocchi suspension works with twin 320 mm front discs and radial Brembo calipers. The rear tyre measures 180/55.
The 700 also brings a two-way quickshifter, cruise control, heated grips and seat, three engine maps, traction control, switchable ABS, tyre-pressure monitoring and a USB-C port. Its 5-inch TFT display adds connectivity and navigation. Wet weight is 195 kg and seat height is 805 mm. Benelli plans to bring the model to market in the second half of 2027.
The TRK 602 X takes over the adventure role
The TRK 602 X appears in final, production-ready form as the successor to the TRK 502. Its 554 cc parallel twin uses a 270-degree crankshaft and produces 53 Nm. The model will be available in 35 kW and 56 hp versions. Its adventure chassis combines a steel tubular frame with an aluminium front structure and a lightweight subframe.
The seat is 825 mm high, the upside-down fork has a 43 mm diameter and suspension travel measures 140 mm at the front and 173 mm at the rear. Spoked 19- and 17-inch wheels are paired with twin 320 mm front discs and radial calipers. Standard equipment includes a 5-inch TFT display with navigation and connectivity, Normal and Sport modes, switchable ABS and traction control, handguards, USB, a centre stand, crash bars and an aluminium engine guard.
A three-case luggage set and heated accessories will be optional. Benelli expects the TRK 602 X to arrive in spring 2027, with four colours planned.
A three-cylinder technology demonstrator
The Tornado Naked Tre 903 Concept is the most technically ambitious machine in the presentation. Its inline three-cylinder engine displaces approximately 900 cc, weighs 56 kg and, according to Benelli, can rev to 14,000 rpm. Power and torque figures have not been announced. The specification includes ride-by-wire, a slipper clutch, a two-way quickshifter and a six-axis inertial measurement unit.
The frame is split into three sections, using aluminium at the front and rear and composite material in the centre. Marzocchi and Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes and slick tyres accompany the active aerodynamic package. The winglets are controlled independently by the IMU and fold away when they are not in use. Benelli describes the motorcycle as an ideas laboratory, with no confirmed move into production.
