Any Mobility has revealed the LUV1, an electric two-wheeler built around a large central cargo area rather than the conventional motorcycle layout. The concept is aimed first at last-mile delivery, but the company also sees the same platform serving commuters, families, business users and leisure riders. Visordown reports that its 11kW peak output and claimed 60mph top speed place it in a category requiring an A1 licence.

A 120-litre load bay in the middle

The defining feature is a 120-litre bay occupying the central section of the LUV1. Instead of hiding that space behind conventional bodywork, Any Mobility makes it the centrepiece of the design, surrounding it with a die-cast aluminium chassis. Dividers can be fitted inside the bay, while the cargo area, batteries and other storage compartments can reportedly be secured together.

The bay’s maximum payload is 50kg, giving the LUV1 a clear delivery focus. Any Mobility is not limiting the idea to courier work, however. Different versions are intended for business use, commuting, family transport and leisure riding. Doors, bags, covers and other accessories can alter the way the same underlying machine is used, including an adventure-oriented configuration mentioned by Visordown.

Removable battery power

A rear-hub motor is supplied by two removable 6.5kWh lithium-ion batteries. Any Mobility gives a range of between 100 and 140km, depending on configuration and use. Visordown also describes the claim as around 80 miles; the two figures are presented as approximate range guidance rather than a guaranteed real-world result. Charging from a 220V supply is said to take between 2.5 and four hours.

Visordown lists a claimed kerb weight of 160kg and a seat height of 786mm. Equipment includes keyless start, integrated LED lighting for the storage areas and a phone-based system providing navigation, battery information and range data. The LUV1 is scheduled for an official launch in late 2027.

The maker’s positioning is broader than that of a simple delivery vehicle: Any Mobility says the LUV1 is intended to combine scooter-like agility, car-like speed and enough storage to reduce the need for a four-wheeled vehicle. A guide price of €8,500, or around £7,300, has been cited, with the final amount dependent on the market and the motorcycle’s final specification.
