Pedro Acosta brought his KTM RC16 home in sixth place in the Qatar MotoGP Sprint, earning four points. The Spaniard had qualified eighth before moving bike number 37 into the top six in the 20th Sprint of the 2026 MotoGP season. The Saturday-evening contest unfolded under the lights at Lusail International Circuit, using the 5.4-km layout.

KTM placed another motorcycle inside the top eight, with Enea Bastianini taking eighth at the finish. Bastianini had reached Q2 and started from 10th on the grid, gaining two positions during the Sprint. Brad Binder ended the race 12th, three places ahead of Maverick Viñales.
