2026 Malaysian MotoGP: Sepang schedule and start times
The 19th round runs from 30 October to 1 November, with Marc Marquez leading and Jorge Martin needing medical clearance.

Sepang hosts round 19 of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November. Marc Marquez arrives in Malaysia with a 10-point advantage over injured rival Jorge Martin, while Martin’s possible return is one of the weekend’s main questions.
Martin fractured his wrist in a crash at Phillip Island while fighting Marquez for victory, ruling him out of the Grand Prix. The main race was subsequently cancelled because visibility was not sufficient for the medical helicopter. Martin is expected to travel to Malaysia, but he must first pass a medical check on Thursday before attempting to ride.
Marco Bezzecchi is 50 points off the championship lead, while the Aprilia RS-GPs could face a difficult task against the Ducatis. Last year at Sepang, Pecco Bagnaia won the Sprint and Alex Marquez took the Grand Prix, with Ai Ogura the leading Aprilia in 10th place. At this year’s pre-season test, Bezzecchi was the only Aprilia rider inside the top six, which was made up entirely of Ducatis. Alex Marquez was fastest overall, while Marc Marquez placed fourth behind Fabio di Giannantonio.
