Ten brand-new CCM motorcycles are being offered at auction in the United Kingdom, alongside factory-built spare parts, workshop equipment and company memorabilia. The Bolton-based manufacturer closed in June 2025. After the collapse, Gateway Auctions purchased CCM’s remaining motorcycle fleet and is now putting it through a UK auction.

The motorcycle lots cover several distinct CCM styles, including a bobber, scrambler, roadster, flat tracker and a Spitfire Moto R. Bidding is online only, with a public viewing scheduled for Tuesday, October 13. The sale contains 1,504 lots in total and is due to finish on Thursday, October 15. Other items in the catalogue include banners and signs, paddock stands, seats and fuel tanks.

Another auction could follow next spring if the remaining motorcycles complete the Motorcycle Single Vehicle Approval process. MSVA allows a motorcycle to be registered for road use in the United Kingdom. CCM was founded in 1971 by motocross rider and engineer Alan Clews, and remained in operation for more than 50 years.

Before its collapse, the company had secured a substantial investment from Pitalia Capital, led by entrepreneur Anil Pitalia. CCM’s plans to expand into international markets did not come to fruition, and neither did the proposed retro adventure motorcycle known as Project X.
