CGM 136: three shell constructions for a new jet helmet range
Shown at EICMA 2026, the range combines Carbon, composite fibreglass and thermopolymer versions with a GT option.

CGM is developing the 136 jet helmet around three different shell constructions, extending one family from the premium Carbon model to a thermopolymer alternative. The range was shown at EICMA 2026 and comprises the 136 Carbon, 136 HD Composite Fiberglass and High Performance Thermo Polymer.
The 136 Carbon uses exposed carbon fibre, with gloss and matt finishes alongside fluorescent high-visibility graphics. Its small outer shell weighs 1250 grams. The 136 HD Composite Fiberglass uses composite fibreglass and retains the flagship version’s technical platform while targeting a lower cost. The High Performance Thermo Polymer model uses high-strength thermopolymer and is also offered in GT form, adding a rear spoiler with an aerodynamic, sporting profile.
All three versions use two outer-shell sizes. The smaller shell is engineered to accommodate size L, helping limit the helmet’s visual and aerodynamic bulk when worn. Sizing across the family runs from XS to 3XL.
The equipment package includes premium interiors and a push-type upper air intake concealed within the shell. CGM has blended the intake into the shell profile, aiming to smooth airflow and reduce aerodynamic noise at higher speeds. The range therefore separates its versions mainly through shell material and the GT configuration, while retaining a shared technical foundation.
