Eurogrip used EICMA 2026 to present three distinct additions to its tyre portfolio: the Protorq Max SuperSport tyre, the sport-focused Bee Sport for scooters and the Altai Rally-Adventure prototypes. The company’s overall range now exceeds 200 sizes, spanning road, scooter and off-road applications.

Protorq Max targets fast road riding

The Protorq Max is aimed at riders who want a dynamic road tyre for mountain routes, while retaining the option of amateur track days and wet-weather riding. Its radial construction uses a 0-degree steel belt, a layout intended to deliver stability and precise responses during acceleration, braking and cornering.

A variable-radius profile is designed to provide a smooth transition onto the edge of the tyre, quick changes of direction and an optimised contact area. The rear radial tyre uses a four-zone multi-compound arrangement to balance grip, stability under acceleration and mileage. Eurogrip also specifies a high-silica compound for adhesion on cold or wet asphalt.

A sportier scooter option and new adventure prototypes

The Bee Sport takes the Bee Connect concept towards a more dynamic scooter application. Its synthetic-fibre X-ply construction is designed to absorb surface imperfections while preserving directional stability, lateral support and comfort. The tread design and compound are derived from the Protorq, while the sport profile is intended to aid turn-in and increase the contact patch at greater lean angles.

The Altai family moves into Rally-Adventure territory, with prototypes intended for middleweight and large enduro motorcycles. Eurogrip also lists first-fit applications on the new BMW F 450 R and RR range, the Norton Atlas and the Moto Guzzi The Trip 500. The Explo-R Plus is already available through the sales network. Protorq Max and Bee Sport are scheduled for early 2027, while the final Altai range is planned for early 2028. Development includes laboratory stress testing and thousands of kilometres across circuits, roads and off-road routes.
