SPA Stop&Up lifts a motorcycle with the press of a button
SPA showed the electro-hydraulic Stop&Up at EICMA 2026 as a modular parking system for motorcycles and scooters.

SPA presented the Stop&Up at EICMA 2026, an electro-hydraulic stand that reworks a familiar part of motorcycle and scooter parking. The system is patented and is operated by a button on the handlebar. Once activated, it raises the vehicle vertically, turning the support mechanism into an active part of the parking process rather than a conventional passive stand.
The lifting action can compensate for differences in ground height, which is intended to help with heavier motorcycles and with parking on uneven or sloping surfaces. Compared with a conventional stand, the greater distance between the support points produces a wider supporting base. SPA presents that layout as an advantage for stability and says it can also make positioning the vehicle easier when the available parking space is tight.
Stop&Up uses a modular structure designed to suit vehicles of different dimensions and categories. Its cover has a long, aerodynamic shape intended to follow the motorcycle’s bodywork instead of appearing as a separate external support. The next stage lies with motorcycle manufacturers, which can consider SPA’s proposal for their own vehicles. The presentation therefore concerns a system offered for possible integration, rather than a named production fitment.
