Athena Big Bore Extreme turns selected 250s into 300s
The new motocross kit includes GET Boost, while GET Emulator targets Euro 5+ road bikes fitted with a racing exhaust.

Athena is expanding its aftermarket range with two products aimed at distinctly different motorcycle uses. Big Bore Extreme is an engine-upgrade kit for motocross machines, taking selected 250 cc models to a larger displacement. GET Emulator, by contrast, is intended for Euro 5+ road motorcycles fitted with a racing exhaust.
Big Bore Extreme fits the KTM SX-F 250, Husqvarna FC 250 and GASGAS MC-F 250 for model years 2023–2027, upgrading them to 300 cc. Its package combines an 86 mm-bore cylinder with a forged piston and dedicated gaskets. It also contains a pre-configured GET Boost electronic module. The module is designed to optimise engine management while keeping the motorcycle’s original ECU in place.
GET Emulator takes a different approach for Euro 5+ road bikes. Designed as a plug-and-play device for use with a racing exhaust, it reproduces the signal expected from the second lambda sensor by the standard ECU, with the aim of preventing potential errors. Athena says the installation needs no remapping, calibration or connection to the OBD2 socket. Both products are displayed in Hall 05, Stand E54.
