Billy Bolt has shared onboard footage from the latest Weston Beach Race, offering a close view of how quickly the seaside event turns into a fight for space and momentum. Staged at Weston-super-Mare, the race reached its 43rd running, with the British rider bringing a major SuperEnduro name into one of off-road racing’s more unusual settings.

Bolt is best known for competing in the SuperEnduro World Championship and is an eight-time world champion. Weston Beach Race presents a markedly different challenge from indoor and hard enduro. Its course blends motocross elements with harsher, more technical bumps and whoops, while the riders launch together rather than spreading out gradually. That combination makes the opening section particularly demanding when the field is packed.

The camera catches Bolt narrowly avoiding a collision at the start after another rider moves across his line. As the race develops, some competitors struggle through muddy, water-filled bumps while others crash directly ahead of him. One of the clearest demonstrations of the disorder comes when Bolt jumps over another rider. The footage presents the obstacles as a constantly changing problem rather than a sequence of isolated sections.

Bolt already has experience at the event, having finished second in 2025. The 29-year-old North Tyneside rider, who was born in Newcastle, is therefore returning to a race that tests skills beyond the disciplines most closely associated with him. Weston demands continuous decisions through soft, wet ground and crowded lines, with stalled riders, fallen competitors and uneven bumps all affecting the route ahead.
