Yamaha Tracer 9 GT Pure Edition lowers the entry price
Priced at €15,200, the new version keeps the CP3 engine, electronic systems and comfort equipment while omitting the panniers.

Yamaha has added the Tracer 9 GT Pure Edition as a lower-cost configuration of its sport-touring model. The version is priced at €15,200, compared with €16,200 for the original edition—a €1,000 difference. MotorBike.gr reported the announcement while publishing Yamaha’s press release.
The lower price comes from deleting the pannier mounts and side cases, rather than from a change to the motorcycle’s main engine and electronic package. The Pure Edition uses the three-cylinder CP3 engine and includes electronically adjustable semi-active suspension, cruise control, a quickshifter and three riding modes.
Equipment retained
The listed technology also covers Yamaha MyRide connectivity, a USB charging port and Garmin navigation. Touring-oriented convenience features include an adjustable windscreen, heated grips and an adjustable seat. The side cases are not part of the initial specification, but Yamaha says riders can add them later if they decide the extra luggage capacity is necessary.
The Pure Edition carries Yamaha’s three-year factory warranty. It is already available through the company’s official dealer network, while the offer is limited to a defined period and to the stock that remains. Buyers therefore get the lower starting price by accepting a simpler luggage setup, with the option to add the cases later rather than paying for them as part of the initial motorcycle.
