Triumph has introduced two limited-edition Rocket 3 motorcycles inspired by Evel Knievel and his connection with the British company. The Rocket 3 R Evel Knievel Limited Edition and Rocket 3 GT Evel Knievel Limited Edition will be produced in a total of 500 motorcycles worldwide, split evenly between the two versions. Listed prices start at $27,495 for the R and $28,295 for the GT.

The choice of Knievel points to a specific part of Triumph’s history. The famous stuntman performed some of his best-known jumps on a Triumph Bonneville, including his first televised stunt and the 1967 fountain jump at Caesar’s Palace. Triumph says that Knievel rode its motorcycles exclusively during 1967 and 1968.

A dedicated Evel Knievel design

Both Rocket 3 editions use a white base with stars-and-stripes graphics and bold Matte Black details. The chrome fuel tank carries the motif, while an EK logo and custom graphics strengthen the visual link to Knievel. The dedicated equipment also includes a bespoke cam-cover plate with laser etching.

The special-edition package adds an exclusive startup-screen animation and a signed hardback book. Triumph says the book was specially commissioned to tell Evel Knievel’s story. The result is therefore more than a revised paint scheme: the two motorcycles combine their themed graphics with a set of collector-focused details.

Choosing between the R and GT

Both versions use the Rocket 3 engine, which Triumph describes as the world’s largest production motorcycle engine. The R retains the model’s muscle-roadster stance, while the GT is positioned as the more comfort-focused choice for longer-distance riding. Each edition is limited to 250 motorcycles, so the decision concerns both riding character and the collector appeal of the finished machine.

The Rocket 3 R Evel Knievel Limited Edition is listed from $27,495, while the Rocket 3 GT Evel Knievel Limited Edition starts at $28,295. The supplied prices are in US dollars, and no Greek pricing or availability information is provided here.
