Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Son of a Gun limited to 100 bikes
The Deus Ex Machina collaboration brings deep-red paint, bespoke details and a matching jacket to Royal Enfield’s Shotgun 650.

Royal Enfield has presented the Shotgun 650 Son of a Gun, a special edition created with Deus Ex Machina. Production will be capped at 100 motorcycles worldwide, giving this version of the Shotgun 650 a distinctly collectible profile.
The mechanical package remains that of the standard Shotgun 650. Power comes from the 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine, while the visual treatment does the work of setting the special apart. Deep-red paint is combined with black engine, chassis and exhaust components, and the tank and side covers carry dedicated logos for the collaboration.
Brown handlebar grips and an embroidered leather seat add further contrast. Royal Enfield will also supply each owner with a stone-washed jacket whose custom lining echoes the motorcycle’s paintwork. The result is a coordinated design package rather than a mechanical revision of the production motorcycle.
The Son of a Gun was shown at the Milan exhibition alongside the Himalayan 750, Continental GT 750 and Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler. Pricing has not been announced, while UK availability remains unconfirmed, leaving the commercial details of the limited run open for now.
This is the latest in a sequence of Shotgun 650 collaborations. Royal Enfield previously worked with Icon Motorsports and Rough Crafts on special editions that were also limited to 100 motorcycles worldwide. Those earlier projects sold out quickly, making the production ceiling an important part of the appeal for buyers considering the Deus Ex Machina version.
