Mototrofa’s Mugen wins Honda Customs 2026
The Portuguese dealer’s custom CB750 Hornet took the overall prize, while DRS Custom Cycles won the off-road category with its Transalp.

Mototrofa’s Mugen, a custom Honda CB750 Hornet from Portugal, has won Honda Customs 2026. This year’s “On Road vs Off Road” contest set custom builds based on the CB750 Hornet and XL750 Transalp against one another. Visordown reports that more than 42,000 votes were cast. Mototrofa’s entry received 10,092 of them, equal to 24% of the overall vote and 36% of the On Road category total.
The result gives Mototrofa a second Honda Customs victory. Its first came in 2021 with Fenix, a build based on Honda’s CB650R platform. The Portuguese dealer is therefore the competition’s second repeat winner, after Italy’s Motocicil Audaci, which took the title in 2022 and 2025. Mugen also becomes the first CB750 Hornet to win the event’s overall award.
A streetfighter winner and an off-road Transalp
Mugen’s visual approach is distinctly aggressive, combining a deep green finish with gold and carbon-fibre detailing. It received more votes than any other motorcycle in the contest, securing the overall result for Mototrofa.
Italy’s DRS Custom Cycles won the Off Road category with Saharja, its custom Honda XL750 Transalp. The build collected 4,800 votes, representing 36% of the category total. Its equipment includes a DRS-built navigation tower with a digital road book and TFT speedometer.
The Transalp also carries Honda’s HRC Tricolour livery, a redesigned front end and integrated high-output LED lights. DRS added new handguards, steel side protection bars, an aluminium skid plate and handcrafted aluminium side fuel tanks. Knobby tyres and a high-mounted exhaust complete the listed changes to the Saharja.
