Montesa has revealed its 2027 trial range, consisting of the Cota 301RR, Cota 4RT 260R and 4Ride. The two Cota models receive the visual updates, while the 4Ride carries over without technical or cosmetic changes.

The Cota 301RR remains Montesa’s flagship and its most competition-focused motorcycle. Its 2027 identity is defined by a new red-and-white livery. The model uses a 298cc engine inherited from the same motorcycle used in the Trial2 World Championship. Its listed equipment includes machined triple clamps, an aluminium frame and silencer, brake discs and carbon protectors.

The Cota 4RT 260R is intended to cover a broader range of riders, including those with less trial experience, and retains the 2026 model’s technical specifications. Its equipment includes Showa front suspension, an aluminium frame and an aluminium silencer. For 2027, the bike adopts red-and-black graphics with a more classic character.

The 4Ride remains the unchanged member of the range. It has a 4.3-litre fuel tank and shares some features with both Cota motorcycles. Euro5+ compliance was added during the 2026 update, using a new exhaust and aluminium silencer derived from the Cota models.

Accessories remain available for the Cota models and 4Ride, including mats, stands, seats and protective covers. The 2027 presentation is therefore a targeted visual update for the Cotas alongside the continued use of the 4Ride package introduced after its 2026 refresh.
