Ducati has unveiled the 2027 Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak with a new livery linking the sport crossover visually to the Desmosedici GP MotoGP machine and the Panigale V4 R used in WorldSBK. Ducati Centro Stile developed the design with Durdi Performance, giving the model a more pronounced racing identity without changing its role as a motorcycle built to combine sporty road performance with touring ability.

A 1,158cc V4 on 17-inch wheels

The Pikes Peak is powered by Ducati’s 1,158cc V4 Granturismo, which produces 170ps (125kW) at 10,750rpm and 123.8Nm at 9,000rpm. Its counter-rotating crankshaft is linked by Ducati to the racing experience of Ducati Corse in MotoGP. The chassis uses an aluminium monocoque frame, a steel subframe and an aluminium single-sided swingarm.

Five-spoke forged Marchesini aluminium wheels measure 17 inches and carry Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres sized 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 190/55 ZR17 at the rear. Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension provides electronically controlled semi-active damping with event-based logic, along with 170mm of wheel travel at both ends. Carbon-fibre front bodywork and a road-homologated Akrapovič titanium silencer add to the specification.

Sportier ergonomics and rider assistance

Compared with the Multistrada V4, the footpegs sit higher and further back, while the handlebar is lower, narrower and flatter. Race Riding Mode changes the rev-limiter control strategy, and Ducati Quick Shift receives a dedicated calibration for aggressive downshifts. The rider-assistance package includes cornering ABS, front and rear radar, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot detection and forward collision warning.

Ducati specifies a valve-clearance inspection every 60,000km, a four-year unlimited-mileage warranty through its 4EVER Ducati programme and roadside assistance during the warranty period. The manufacturer also states that the 2027 version is already being sold through European dealers, with a configurator available on Ducati.com.
