BMW Motorrad details model-year 2027 updates across its lineup

BMW Motorrad is introducing model-year 2027 updates across its product lineup. The updated configurations can be ordered from BMW Motorrad partners from August 2026. Comfort and touring equipment
The F 900 XR and F 900 R receive Comfort Packages with new content, including the M Endurance Chain. On the S 1000 R, the USB Charging Port is included in the Comfort Package.
For the R 1300 RS Style Performance, left- and right-side case holders become available as factory options. The R 1300 R can also be specified with left- and right-side case holders as factory options, while its Touring Package includes those holders together with Central Lock and Central Stand.
S 1000 RR and M models
The S 1000 RR adds a Style Edition M Sport in Blackstorm Metallic / M Motorsport. This edition includes a tinted windscreen and M Forged Wheels. Sport / Bluestone metallic is no longer available. The USB Charging Port is included in the Dynamic Package and Edition M Sport, while the M Package gains M Forged Wheels as new content. M Carbon Wheels become alternative package content for the M Package.
The M 1000 RR receives a third-generation M Motorsport Frame as standard equipment. BMW describes the frame as having improved flex properties; its weight is reduced by approximately 1.3 kg and its wall thickness by approximately 30%. BMW also links its stiffness and flexibility characteristics to chassis performance and grip. M Forged Wheels are standard equipment, while M Carbon Wheels become alternative package content.
For the M 1000 RR, the M Track Package includes the M Endurance Chain, Carbon Package, M Billet Package and M Carbon Wheels. The M Track Package II includes the M Endurance Chain, Carbon Package and M Billet Package. The source states that the M Competition Package is no longer available for the packages described.

The K 1600 GTL Style Edition II also receives Imperial Blue metallic. The “K 1600 Edition” batch adds a new black Option 719 Bench Seat and Option 719 Forged Wheels. Option 719 Blue Ridge Mountain metallic and Exclusive Gravity Blue metallic are no longer available.
The K 1600 Bagger and Grand America Style Edition II receive Imperial Blue metallic, while Option 719 Ionic Silver metallic is no longer available. Both updates are identified as part of the “K 1600 Edition” batch.
For the R 12 G/S, Style Option 719 and Option 719 II receive a Frozen Brooklyn Grey metallic colour scheme. Option 719 Sandrover Uni matt is no longer available.
