BMW M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT is restricted to 115 units
Based on the M 1000 RR M Competition, the special edition commemorates the 115th running of the TT in 2026 with course-inspired graphics and exclusive equipment.

BMW Motorrad has introduced the M 1000 RR Limited Edition Isle of Man TT, a numbered run of 115 motorcycles created to commemorate the 115th running of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy in 2026. The edition is based on the BMW M 1000 RR M Competition and is presented for customers interested in performance, exclusivity and collector value, according to BMW Motorrad.
A TT-inspired design
The motorcycle uses a British Racing Green Uni Matt finish, with selected sections of the TT Mountain Course incorporated into the graphics. Selected left-hand turns appear on the left side of the fairing, while selected right-hand turns are shown on the right. Each motorcycle also carries sequential numbering, with milled numbering on the top yoke and a certificate of authenticity.
The specification includes an aluminium fuel tank in Satin Chrome with tapes, a black Alcantara seat and a matt-finish M carbon airbox cover featuring a Mountain Course graphic and TT logo. TT branding and lettering are applied to the rear frame, while a black swingarm adds another visual distinction.
Equipment and limited-run details
The equipment basis includes the M Competition package without a pillion package. The special equipment list also includes an M Race Cover Kit, a rear workstand with assembly-stand mounting and an M motorcycle mat measuring 250 by 105 centimetres, finished with M and TT logos.
A link to BMW’s TT record
The anniversary model draws on a long BMW connection with the Mountain Course. Georg Meier won the Senior TT in 1939 on a BMW RS 255 Kompressor, while Helmut Dähne and Hans-Otto Butenuth won the 1,000 cc Production class in 1976 on a BMW R 90 S.
More recent milestones include Michael Dunlop’s 1,000 cc-class breakthrough for BMW on an S 1000 RR in 2014 and Peter Hickman’s three TT victories in 2022, in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior races, on BMW motorcycles. BMW Motorrad also credits Davey Todd with the 2025 Superbike win and additional strong results in the 1,000 cc classes.
The clearest measure of the performance level associated with BMW’s TT programme came in 2023, when Peter Hickman set the all-time lap record on the TT Mountain Course on a BMW M 1000 RR in Superstock specification. The lap was completed in 16:36.115, at an average speed of 136.358 mph—approximately 219.4 km/h.
