BMW gives the R1300 GS Adventure a colourful Oktoberfest makeover
The one-off Wiesn-GS uses an ARider wrap inspired by Munich’s 2026 Oktoberfest poster, while its mechanical package remains standard.

BMW Motorrad has turned its large adventure motorcycle into a distinctly Bavarian one-off for Munich’s 2026 Oktoberfest. Named the BMW R1300 GS Adventure x Oktoberfest München 2026, the project is based on the R1300 GS Adventure Triple Black and was created specifically for this year’s celebrations.
The visual transformation was carried out by German customisation company ARider. Instead of adding a conventional accessory package or simply applying a new badge, ARider covered the motorcycle in a wrap inspired by the official Oktoberfest 2026 poster. Its colours, shapes and graphics extend across the GS Adventure’s bodywork, producing a much more vivid appearance than the normally restrained Triple Black finish.
A one-off built around the standard motorcycle
BMW describes the finished machine as an “Unikat”, the German term for a one-off, and also calls it the “Wiesn-GS”. The manufacturer has used the phrase “Auf’klebt is’” as a Bavarian-dialect joke about the graphics being stuck onto the motorcycle. The unusual name and livery do not turn the project into a customer-orderable special edition: the bike is not intended to be available through BMW dealers as a model customers can buy.
Under the Oktoberfest design, the motorcycle retains the standard R1300 GS Adventure’s mechanical specification. Its 1,300cc boxer engine produces 145bhp at 7,750rpm and 149Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The 30-litre fuel tank is also retained, giving the Adventure a more touring-focused character than the standard GS. BMW’s project adds no extra power, suspension development or other performance upgrade; its purpose is appearance rather than changed riding hardware.
Competition limited to German residents
BMW Motorrad Germany is linking the motorcycle to a competition running alongside the project. German residents can enter for the opportunity to win a BMW motorcycle for a weekend from 9 to 12 October 2026. The promotion is therefore tied to Germany rather than presented as an international offer. Visordown reported the build, its ARider wrap, the technical specification and the competition details.
