KTM placed two of its riders inside the MotoGP top six at the Qatar Grand Prix, with Enea Bastianini finishing fifth and Pedro Acosta sixth. The pair fought closely at the Lusail International Circuit, with Bastianini eventually taking the position and collecting 11 points.

Acosta initially challenged for the final podium place, but later had to reduce his pace. Their battle then moved to fifth, where Bastianini came out ahead. Acosta scored 10 points for sixth and remains fourth in the world championship. For Bastianini, the result marked his third top-five finish in the last four Grands Prix.

Maverick Viñales finished 13th and added three points for KTM. Brad Binder, however, did not reach the finish after being forced into pit lane by a technical problem.

Another Moto3 win for the KTM RC4

KTM also produced a strong Moto3 result. Álvaro Carpe finished fifth as the leading KTM GP Academy rider in a fiercely contested race, while the KTM RC4 took another victory in the class. Brian Uriarte returned to competition with a 14th-place finish and secured the Rookie of the Year distinction. The Lusail weekend unfolded in front of a crowd described as a record attendance.
