Ruroc has opened the public vote in its “Leave Your Mark” competition, giving a community-submitted concept a route towards becoming a production helmet. Artists, riders and Ruroc fans were invited to send in their designs, and four entries have reached the quarter-final stage: Shangri, Arcana, Party Girl and Cyber Lily. The competition details were published by Visordown.

The contests are being run through the Ruroc Motorcycle Gang Facebook group. Ruroc has temporarily opened the group to the public, allowing people to view the entries and cast a vote. The quarter-finals will lead into two semi-finals, followed by the final round on 22 September. Ruroc is scheduled to announce the overall winner on 24 September.

A winning design with a production path

The prize is more substantial than recognition for the person behind the artwork. Ruroc says the winning concept will move to its in-house design team before entering the company’s commercial design and manufacturing process. The planned result is a limited run of 100 helmets carrying the winning design, with public release scheduled for summer 2027. The winner will also receive five customised helmets featuring their design.

That gives the public vote a practical consequence: one of the submitted ideas could become a product rather than ending with the competition. Ruroc presents the initiative as a way to gather community feedback, support individual expression and give riders a say in which designs progress towards production. Visordown says the active match-ups are pinned to the top of the Ruroc Motorcycle Gang Facebook group.
