AGV has launched the K5 as a sport-touring helmet with 13 colour and graphic combinations. The range includes conventional solid finishes alongside graphic designs, giving buyers a broad choice without changing the helmet’s core equipment package. The prices currently announced are for the United Kingdom market.

UK pricing begins at £259 for gloss black and gloss white versions. Choosing a matt black, matt white or matt grey finish raises the price to £269, while the graphic versions are listed at £299. The graphic K5 is available in eight colours. AGV says the shell design has been developed to limit turbulence and maintain optimum stability when speed increases.

The K5 uses AGV’s GT8 visor, with a stated horizontal field of view of 190 degrees. Its quick-release mechanism works without tools, and the helmet is supplied with a Pinlock 70 MaxVision anti-fog lens as standard. Inside, Ritmo and Shalimar fabrics are combined with synthetic-leather inserts around the neck-guard area. AGV presents this interior arrangement as a way to balance comfort, stability and durability.

A traditional double-D-ring fastening system is used, and the helmet meets the ECE 22.06 safety standard. AGV has also given particular attention to the lower front section, shaping it with what it calls a collarbone-safe profile. The manufacturer says this profile is intended to reduce the risk of collarbone injury during an impact, extending the K5’s design brief beyond aerodynamics and touring comfort.
