SHAD Rackless: 41 litres with under-seat mounting
SHAD’s new soft-luggage system debuted at EICMA 2026 and is expected in the first months of 2027.

SHAD has introduced the Rackless soft-luggage system at EICMA 2026. Instead of relying on conventional side-case mounting, it attaches directly to the motorcycle with straps and anchors beneath the seat, keeping the bags close to the bodywork. The layout is designed to reduce both weight and lateral width, making it especially relevant to adventure riders whose routes may include off-road sections.
Up to 41 litres of capacity
The system starts with two side bags rated at 13 litres each. A zip expansion raises the capacity of each bag to 16 litres. Riders can also add an optional 9-litre rear bag, bringing the total capacity to 41 litres. That gives the Rackless configuration enough flexibility for everyday travel as well as longer journeys, while retaining the compact mounting approach.
SHAD uses water-resistant materials for the outer sections and waterproof inner bags for added luggage protection in wet conditions. A combination closure helps protect the contents while the motorcycle is parked. The SHAD Rackless system is expected to reach the market in the first months of 2027, but pricing has not yet been announced.
