Clover Rambla 2 brings Class AA protection to a softshell jacket
The second-generation Rambla revises its internal construction, adds convertible ventilation pockets and keeps a removable thermal layer for changing weather.

Clover has presented the Rambla 2 at EICMA 2026 as the second generation of its softshell motorcycle jacket, aimed at daily motorcycle and scooter use as well as shorter touring rides. Its main change is the overall protection classification, which rises from Class A to Class AA after the internal structure and stitching were redesigned. That is a significant step for a softshell garment, a material chosen for flexibility and comfort but more challenging to certify against abrasion, tearing and prolonged sliding on asphalt.
Protection with a flexible feel
The Rambla 2 uses CE Level 1 protectors at the shoulders and elbows. Clover describes these protectors as thermo-adaptive and soft to the touch, with an anatomical shape intended to reduce stiffness around the joints both while riding and away from the motorcycle. The result is a jacket that keeps a casual appearance without abandoning the protective equipment expected from a riding garment.
A jacket that changes with the weather
A removable quilted thermal layer gives the Rambla 2 a warmer configuration for winter conditions. It can be taken out through an internal zip when temperatures rise, leaving the same outer jacket for milder spring or autumn weather. With the insulation removed, the front pockets can be opened and used as ventilation channels, helping move air through the garment during city riding and on light off-road sections.
The outer softshell is water-repellent and provides a barrier against wind and light precipitation, while retaining the soft, flexible character of the fabric. This layered arrangement is intended to make one garment usable across a broader range of everyday conditions rather than limiting it to a single season.
Urban design, storage and price
The design follows the look of a contemporary urban padded jacket rather than that of dedicated off-road equipment. Its hood can be removed completely or secured at the back with a dedicated clip, preventing it from moving around in aerodynamic turbulence. A deep rear cargo pocket provides space for the detached hood, a pair of winter gloves or travel documents, reducing the need for an additional bag or backpack.
Clover offers the Rambla 2 in Grey, Black and Navy Blue. The listed price is 229.99 euros, and the jacket is already distributed through Clover’s authorised sales network. Visitors to EICMA 2026 can see it at Hall 6, Stand F43, where it was presented together with Filippo Goffi.
