The technology behind Ducati’s WorldSBK Triple Crown
Ducati secured all three 2026 WorldSBK titles, with Lenovo supporting the handling of up to 40 GB of data per race weekend.

Ducati finished the 2026 WorldSBK season with the championship’s Triple Crown: the Riders’, Teams’ and Manufacturers’ titles. The achievement arrived in the company’s 100th year as a manufacturer and underlined the importance of the technical operation supporting its factory racing effort.
Lenovo occupies a role across Ducati’s two leading circuit-racing programmes. It is the title sponsor of the official MotoGP team and the main sponsor of the factory Aruba.it Ducati WorldSBK squad. Its contribution also extends into the garage, where ThinkSystem SE350 servers and ThinkPad P1 systems were used in handling data from the race-specification Panigale V4 R.
Lenovo was present at every WorldSBK event during the season, with engineers processing as much as 40 GB of data over each race weekend. That workload has to fit into a compressed schedule: WorldSBK stages multiple races during a weekend, and some sessions are separated by only two hours. Since the regulations prohibit real-time analysis, teams must complete the work between track appearances quickly enough for the information to influence the next session.

The WorldSBK Panigale V4 R is derived from the production model, while its racing specification incorporates ideas associated with Ducati’s MotoGP programme. The listed elements include a revised chassis, a front frame and a double-sided swingarm. Alongside the shared Lenovo partnership, those components show how the manufacturer’s racing projects remain connected at both the data and engineering levels.
Enza Truzzolillo, Lenovo’s Managing Director and General Manager, described the Triple Crown as the product of talent, determination and teamwork. She said Lenovo technology helped Aruba.it Racing – Ducati reach faster, better-informed decisions, and congratulated Nicolò Bulega and the complete team on what she called a historic accomplishment.
