Lecuona wins at Cremona as Bulega seals the 2026 WorldSBK title
Iker Lecuona completed his first WorldSBK hat-trick, while Nicolo Bulega secured the 2026 championship with second place.

Iker Lecuona ended Race 2 at Cremona with victory and completed his first hat-trick in WorldSBK. Nicolo Bulega finished second and that result secured the 2026 World Superbike championship title.
Bulega crossed the line eight seconds behind Lecuona, while Yari Montella took third, four seconds behind the new champion. Montella’s podium completed a strong recovery after his crash in Race 1.
Alberto Surra claimed fourth, finishing just over a second behind Montella and completing his best WorldSBK weekend. Alex Lowes was fifth after Sam Lowes ran wide and crashed at Turn 13 while attempting to pass him.
The rest of the top ten
Jake Dixon finished sixth for the best WorldSBK result of his career. Lorenzo Baldassarri, Garrett Gerloff and Axel Bassani followed, with Andrea Locatelli completing the top ten. The race was the second at Cremona and the final contest of the championship’s tenth round in 2026.
