Ducati has completed the 2026 WorldSBK season with a perfect team record: Aruba.it Racing – Ducati won all 36 of its races. It is the first time a team has achieved 36 victories from 36 races in the history of the Superbike World Championship, giving the season a place among the series’ defining milestones.

The final win came in Race 2 at Jerez de la Frontera. Nicolò Bulega secured pole position and then completed a three-win weekend, supplying the result needed to close the campaign without a single defeat. The reigning World Champion finished the season with 32 victories, while teammate Iker Lecuona contributed four. Bulega’s total also lifted his career tally to 52 WorldSBK wins, matching Troy Bayliss.

A silver tribute at Jerez

The achievement was marked on the track with a special appearance for Race 2. Both official Panigale V4 R motorcycles ran a glittering silver livery, while Bulega and Lecuona wore matching leathers. Centro Stile Ducati created the design in collaboration with Drudi Performance, taking its inspiration from the 750 Imola Desmo.

That motorcycle is tied to one of Ducati’s most significant racing moments: Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari rode it to a Ducati one-two at the 1972 Imola 200 Miles. More than 50 years later, the silver treatment brought the colours associated with that achievement back to the circuit while also celebrating Ducati’s Centenary.

A tricolour detail running along the side fairing of each bike completed the design. Ducati connected the record season to Bulega’s performance, Lecuona’s contribution, the Panigale V4 R developed in Borgo Panigale and the work of the entire Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team. The result is not simply a championship campaign with a large win total, but an unbeaten 36-race run.
