Jake Dixon completed a one-day test at Cremona Circuit ahead of the next round of the 2026 WorldSBK season. The venue will be a new track for the Honda rider, who arrives after his most encouraging championship weekend so far. At Magny-Cours, Dixon showed top-10 pace throughout the race weekend.

Honda had used a similar approach with Dixon at Magny-Cours during the summer break, giving him time to adapt to the circuit. At Cremona, the weather forecast suggested limited dry running, but Dixon ended up completing more laps in the dry than expected. Heavy rain arrived in the afternoon; rather than stopping there, the team also used the session to gather experience in wet conditions.

Dixon described the test as a good one while making clear that it was not a prediction of race performance. The real assessment will come once the event begins. After a week away to recover from a busy run of days, he said the priority would be to keep improving step by step.

Honda team-mate Somkiat Chantra worked on adapting the motorcycle and preparing its race setup, with the event described by him as ten days away. Chantra said the team found useful settings for both rain and dry conditions. He estimated that the dry setup was around 80% complete, with the remaining adjustments to be made during the race weekend.
