Nicolo Bulega ended the 2026 WorldSBK season by winning Race 2 at Jerez. At the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto, Aruba.it Racing Ducati secured the first two places, with Iker Lecuona following Bulega across the finish line in second.

The result also marked a significant milestone for Bulega. It was his 52nd WorldSBK victory, putting him level with Troy Bayliss on the championship’s win tally. Bulega and Lecuona competed in silver heritage liveries paying tribute to Ducati’s 1972 Imola 200 victory.

Lowes claims third on the final lap

Alvaro Bautista occupied third place for most of the race after a strong start. A podium that would have carried extra significance in what could be his final WorldSBK appearance disappeared on the last lap, when Sam Lowes moved ahead. The British rider had more rear-tire grip late in the race and completed the pass for third.

Yari Montella finished fifth ahead of Lorenzo Baldassarri. Alex Lowes took seventh and Axel Bassani eighth, while the two Bimotas also drew attention with their distinctive black-and-gold liveries. Alberto Surra was ninth and Miguel Oliveira completed the top ten as the 2026 WorldSBK season concluded at Jerez.
