Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati has confirmed its rider pairing for the 2027 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship. Six-time champion Cameron Beaubier will return to the team, joined by Darryn Binder after the South African won the 2026 MotoAmerica Supersport title. The team will continue with the Ducati Panigale V4 R for its next Superbike campaign.

Beaubier comes back from an interrupted 2026

Beaubier’s 2026 season was cut short by a shoulder injury suffered in a crash at Road America. He missed four months of competition, then made an immediate impact when he returned at Circuit of The Americas in September. In his first weekend back, he claimed pole position and won the opening Superbike race before taking fourth in the second. At the season finale at New Jersey Motorsports Park, he finished second in Race 1.

Beaubier said the injury kept 2026 from developing as he had hoped, but he still ended the year with a victory, a podium and additional time on the Ducati. His return for 2027 gives Warhorse a rider with an established record in the premier MotoAmerica class and another opportunity to build a complete season with the team.

Binder moves into Superbike

Binder earned his place in the new lineup with a title-winning first season in MotoAmerica. He secured the 2026 Supersport championship with one round remaining by winning both races at Circuit of The Americas. Before the finale, his season total stood at 10 victories and 13 podiums. He also recorded double-win weekends at Road America and COTA.

Superbike will be unfamiliar territory for Binder, who has not raced in the class before. His wider career includes 11 seasons in the Grand Prix paddock. He made his full-time Moto3 World Championship debut in 2015, scored his first Grand Prix podium in 2018 and took his first Grand Prix victory at the 2020 Catalan Grand Prix. After finishing seventh in the 2021 Moto3 World Championship, he moved directly to MotoGP in 2022 and later competed in Moto2.

The pairing therefore brings together a proven MotoAmerica Superbike champion and a rider arriving from Supersport with a title, 10 wins and 13 podium finishes. For Binder, 2027 will be his first Superbike season and a new test after establishing himself in MotoAmerica’s middleweight class. The 2027 MotoAmerica Superbike schedule will be announced later.
